Get your batteries’ digital passport ready for February 2027.

Tell us what you sell and we will tell you whether it applies, what is missing and where to start.

Mandatory from 18 February 2027 for electric vehicle batteries, e-bike and e-scooter batteries, and industrial batteries above 2 kWh.

What matters is the information behind it. The QR code is just the end.

Every battery in scope will have a digital record that opens with a QR code. Getting there takes four steps:

  1. Your data

What the battery is made of, how much energy it stores, how long it lasts and how it is taken apart and recycled.

  2. Your proof

The documents behind each data point: test reports, certificates, declarations.

  3. Your suppliers

Much of the data is held only by whoever makes the battery, such as its materials or origin. You need to ask them for it.

  4. The record and its QR

With everything gathered, the record is published and the QR code goes on the battery.

If one piece is missing, the record is incomplete. We help you see what you have and what is missing.
